LeeAnn Cherry, a native to Middle Tennessee, founded Bear Creek Farm alongside her husband, Bill Cherry, in the summer of 2007. She envisioned a sustainable, pasture-raised cattle and hog farm that provides healthy, wholesome beef and pork to the community. She instilled the motto “Honored to Grow for You” day one of Bear Creek Farm. The first couple years of operations we only supplied a few restaurants and did pop-up farmers markets around town. Now, Bear Creek Farm works with independent, chef-driven restaurants throughout the Southeast. LeeAnn’s passion is to have a multi-generational family farm and her dream has come to a fruition.
Bill Cherry has been cattle farming for more than 30 years. He has helped build Bear Creek Farm to where it is today. Bill is a native of Middle Tennessee and has lived in the Franklin/Thompsons Station area his entire life. He knows the land that we operate on like the back of his hand. His keen knowledge of raising cattle and hogs have allowed us to craft flavorful beef and pork. Bill understands how to maintain a sustainable farm and works on implementing new and effective strategies to grow the business. Bill enjoys his time outside working with the animals and mentoring his stepsons.
Manager Cherry Meat Co.
Paige, our daughter, manages our livestock processing facility. Cherry Meat Company was founded in 2012, and Paige has been hands on running the facility since its birth. Paige oversees all of the orders going to restaurants and individuals. We call her the secret ninja! Paige’s career started in Law Enforcement to protect and serve our community, and after her career as a police officer, she spent time on the farm learning all the aspects of what it takes to raise our cattle and hogs. When we purchased our processing facility in 2012, Paige stepped up and took a management position. She truly is the backbone to our business.

Alex’s sharp knowledge of cattle and hog biology have allowed us to continue pushing for superior genetics. He also oversees thousands of acres of land we operate to ensure the highest quality forage for our livestock.
